These pieces were completed in Year 10 of secondary school as part of my Art GCSE. They unwisely let us decide our own focus for that year - which is why I spent a year drawing my favourite artist at the time Florence + The Machine. They all feature Florence Welch and each piece was inspired by a different Florence + The Machine song (including Blinding, The Drumming Song, Swimming, Heavy in Your Arms, Between Two Lungs). It was during that year that I started to refine my ability to draw people - it really prepared me for the Self Portrait focus in Year 11.
